After you have posted your sentences, this is an extra assignment that you need to do if you have time. Please read the folktalke, Tikki, Tikki, Tembo. There are several similarities between this book and On My Honor even though the stories are very different, too. Then, please write 2 paragraphs. One telling how the books are similar, and one telling how they are different.

trembled pg. 69-He trembled when he went to the doctors for his reflexes check-up.
simultaneously pg. 78-The twins were born almost simultaneously.

ReplyDeleteThis is how Tiki Tiki Tembo and On My Honor is smilar. Both of the people got help to rescue some one. They both talk about water and someone gets stuck in it. They showed how they both worried about someone else then there slefs. In the books they showed that they tired to save someone. They both show how they both provied some thing. These are how these two books are the same.
This how Tiki Tiki Tembo and On My Honnr are different. On My Honor is about a lie. Tiki Tiki Tembo is about how two brothers didn't listen to there mother. Tony dies.Tiki Tiki Tembo is a funny story. On My Honor is sad. Tiki Tiki Tembo is about a story about a well that both boys fell in.That's how these two books are different.

ReplyDeleteTiki Tiki Tembo and On My Honor are the same because they both deal with water.They are also the same because Tiki Tiki Tembo and Tony were in the water for a while. Also they both had two boys.Also one character from each story had a short name.
They are different because Tony died and Tiki Tiki Tembo didn't die.Also one kind of happy and the other is really sad.Also Chang got out with a ladder and the other didn't.Next one was with a well and the other was with a river.Another way why the stories are different is one character had a long name and his brother had a short name,Tony and Joel both had short names.

I would just pack things that will remind me of America.It would be sad for me and my family to move to a new country. My family would take a plane to get to a new country.
