ReplyDeleteI'm doing my summary on Madam C.J. Walker. C.J. Walker was born in 1867. She worked on a plantation with her family. When she was 7 yrs. old, her parents died of Yellow Fever. Then she moved to Vicksburg,Mississippi with her sister and brother. Madam C.J. Walker was 10 when she did this. At age 14 she married a man named Moses Williams. Her husband died when C.J. was 20. Before he died they had a daughter and named her A'Lelia. C.J. Walker's hair started to fall out, but nothing worked to grow it back. M.C.J. Walker made her own cure. She called her cure Madam C.J. Walker's Hair Grower. And Madam C.J. Walker died in 1919.

ReplyDeleteI read about Stephen Robert Irwin and I wanted to tell you something about him. Stephen Robert Irwin gained worldwide fame as the Australian host of television's The Crocodile Hunter. Stephen Irwin was raised by parents who rescued and rehabilitated animals in Queensland, Australia. He learned a lot about wild animals at a very young age. Also,He was praised for educating children about nature and awarded for attracting tourism to Australia with his zoo. Fans around the world expressed their shock and grief over The Crocodile Hunter's untimely death in 2006. Steve Irwin's love of animals and message of conservation lives on in his daughter, as she follows in his footsteps in her own television series, Bindi: The Jungle Girl. This is why Stephan Irwin was my favorite because I use to watch his show.(It was a really cool show!)

ReplyDeleteOn July 24,1897 Amelia Earhart was born.After seeing her first plane she took flying lessons.Amelia got her plane lessons and bought her own plane.She was not the first woman to fly.In 1928 she was asked to be first woman to fly across the Atlanic.When she wwent flying she had a pliot named Wilman Bill Stulz and a copliot,E.Slim Bordo.Her tirp was a suscss but she wanted to go again excpt this time alone.After doing that she was the first woman to get a honner.Her main goal was to show that woman can be just as good as men.
In 1930 she was asked to fly around the world.In 1937 she tried to fly around the world but failed.She went to Mami,Florida on June 1,1937 and flew to the Pacfic Oeacn and ran out of oil and went missing.
